Welcome to my blog. I'm  Humayun Kabir Chowdhury. I took my Graduation and Master's Degree in Economics from Dhaka University. I started my  professional life through joining in Bangladesh  Shipping Corporation, the government owned national line of Bangladesh, in the year 1979 and served with reputation in different departments of the said organisation for about 30 years. During my career in Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, I had exposure to work in the field of liner shipping, chartering, operation, feeder service and also management level. Served as Senior Manager- Sales, in CMA CGM Shipping Line, the leading container shipping line of the world during 2011. I obtained practical experience of marketing, while worked in CMA CGM. One may like to know why I have decided to be a 'Blogger'. My answer is that I like to share my long working experience & knowledge on shipping with those who are now working in maritime industry as well as fresh entrant willing to join in the same industry.
